Prime Minister Günther and the consular corps visiting Lübeck's Fraunhofer Institute
On November 14, around 30 members of the Consular Corps from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg visited scientific and cultural institutions in Lübeck. For the traditional journey through the northernmost state, Schleswig-Holstein's Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) had invited the envoys. At the Fraunhofer Institute for Marine Biotechnology and Cell Technology they were informed by Prof. Charli Kruse about the research on the biotechnological use of cells and perspectives of aquaculture. During a tour through the institute, the guests took a look at workshops and laboratories and exchanged views with the employees about current research projects. Afterwards, Prime Minister Günther and the consular corps continued their journey to Lübeck in the European Hansemuseum.
