About 20 interdisciplinary scientists, engineers and technicians as well as research students and practical trainees work in close co-operation with partners from academic and industrial research facilities. Our team members also work with customers from industry and economy on complex, multi-faceted tasks. Most importantly, our team tries to find a realizable and optimal solution -under the individual circumstances- for each problem.

A variety of projects, new technologies and research results prove the spectrum of accomplishments of the new Fraunhofer Institute and conveys a first impression of what can be achieved through interdisciplinary cooperation and alternative approaches.
